In Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the  protagonist teaches us a valuable lesson as soon as he arrives at Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and sorcery. First-year students must wear a magic sorting hat on their head to be assigned to one of the four schools at Hogwarts.

Since it’s Harry’s turn, the sorting hat assigns him Slytheryn. However, our beloved protagonist rejects this award as he is very well aware that he wants to belong to Gryffindor.

And, thus he teaches us that we have the power to make our own decisions, and  we should be the ones who decide our own future.

She is the daughter of two  smugglers  – in other words, non-wizards. However, this reality is no barrier for her. Despite her origins,  she continues to work hard to achieve everything she sets out to achieve.

In  Harry Potter ,  is against one of the greatest virtues. Through the book series, we can observe many of the characters act, and it’s not just according to Gryffindor. However, there is one character in particular who demonstrates exceptional courage, and that is Harry himself.

Right from the beginning of the series, Harry has to confront all sorts of horrible situations and scary beasts, such as Dementors. And, when the time comes to come face to face with his greatest fear, Lord Voldemort, Harry does not hesitate.

In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban , we meet Sirius Black, Harry’s godfather and best friend of his deceased parents. Despite the negative opinions and lies others have spread about him, Sirius finally shows Harry and everyone else who he really is.

However, throughout the book series, other people’s opinions about Harry are always a problem. Harry often feels the hatred of his enemies and the indifference of those who constantly look at him with contempt and distrust. However, our hero always moves forward, despite the problems he experiences in his life. 

5. Do not judge a book by its cover

Through Severus Snape’s character, the elixir master, we learn the lesson that appearance can be misleading. Furthermore, there is always a story behind any person’s actions. Therefore, it is important to take the time to get to know people before judging them. 

Furthermore, Snape’s character teaches us another valuable lesson. It is that even though we know it is not always easy to forgive and love, it makes us, without a doubt, better people to do so.

6. Love and friendship are the most valuable lessons in the Harry Potter saga

Every book about  Harry Potter  is full of magic and great wizards, but that’s not the only thing they’re about. The author, JK Rowling, shows us that love and friendship are what really matter, as well as the things that are truly powerful in life. These are the two elements that prevail in and are preserved in the main characters of this unforgettable saga.

In conclusion, the story of Harry Potter  teaches  us that the willingness to confront our problems has a lot to do with those around us. When we surround ourselves with trusting and supportive friends, they make us even stronger.
