You Will Always Be My Baby No Matter What

Time passes quickly and life circumstances change dramatically. Everything, changes, and everything changes. But there are certain things that never seem to change. Some of those things involve you, my child. You will always be my baby, no matter how much you grow.

The small, round, angelic face gradually transforms into a child’s noble face. My tumbling began to expand the small, sweet body. The little fingers began to develop and refine skills. You will always be my baby .

All of a sudden, a lot of acquired skills emerged. They are the bright sun that gives our arms a constant heat flow. They are finally replaced by tears and smiles with their ability to express themselves with their first words.

This little child, who yesterday was a newborn, gradually moved on from the purest and most natural source of food. In return, I offered many other natural ingredients that had been prepared with all my love so that they could have a healthy and eternal well-being. 

But after going through so many changes, and even though you are growing so much, there are some things that have remained intact and stable. It does not matter how much you take on and how tall you have become. It also does not matter that you begin to gain autonomy and independence. The truth is, you will always be my baby. It never changes.  

You will always be my baby; I will always love you

Time and growth will not change my mind or the way I look at you. I actually do not really care what people say, because I have never asked for their opinion. To me you will always be my baby, my only great love. The most true, deep, unconditional and eternal love.

Even as the days, months, and years go by and you change your physical appearance and your skills, I will always see you as the pure, helpless being. Therefore, I promise that I will not only teach you the language of life itself, but also to protect you from all risks and dangers.

The way it manifests may be different, but what matters will always remain intact. My love will never change or diminish. On the contrary. Our ties will be strengthened day by day. The connection between our souls is never weakened. The connection is built on a solid foundation. 

It’s time for the world to understand. My child will continue to be my child until the last days of my life. The wonderful creature knows exactly how he was going to conquer my heart, right from the day he came into the world.

You are the engine that keeps my feet moving, the cable that keeps me down to earth, and the treasure that fills my soul with pride.

The little child performs to give my soul a blow. He stole my collection of heartfelt smiles. My child taught me the mysteries and secrets of joy, which are hidden behind a glance. My child also dug up the strength and courage I never knew I had.

It does not matter how much you grow

My heart does not understand time or age. Therefore, it does not matter to my soul how big you become. All these beautiful feelings that I have felt for you since you arrived exceed all causes. I still feel the same as the day I saw you for the first time.

The years will pass and the complexity of your work and activities will increase. The freedom I gave you will suddenly start playing against me. Your independence and autonomy will give you wings that allow you to fly sooner or later.

It does not matter if we are talking about university or your first job. It does not even matter if I hear a rumor about your first true love. Not even the “empty nest syndrome” will be able to affect me. I will never believe that the passage of time has transformed my newborn baby into a fully-fledged and well-functioning person.

You will always be my baby, my eternal baby. A creature I felt in my stomach from day one. You were a little ship full of dreams, which day by day were shaped to perfection right before my eyes by me. Today I see a large ship in front of me, but I also see the small one that was present at birth.

Age does not exist for this type of love.
