1. Stuffed tomatoes

Depending on your taste,  you can stuff them with tuna, chicken, meat, couscous and even rice. 

In addition to being simple to prepare,  this meal contains many essential nutrients, such as vitamin C,  which helps in the growth and repair of tissues.

It is also a fun meal because it is composed of intense colors  (the red tomatoes) that capture the attention of the children.

2. Caprese salad

This simple dish has a mix of amazing flavors that your child will love.

To cook it,  you need 2 tomatoes, 2 balls of mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, olive oil and salt. 

  • The first step is to wash and cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Then, do the same with the mozzarella.
  • Fold the tomato slices and the mozzarella slices on top of each other.
  • Next, wash the  basil leaves, and add a little salt and olive oil. 
  • Add this mixture on top of the tomato slices and the mozzarella cheese.

3. Croquettes with tuna and vegetables

Many children do not like fish. Therefore,  the best way you can include it in their diet is to serve it differently. 

Tuna contains fatty acids and omega 3,  both of which are important for maintaining a healthy heart and healthy blood vessels.

You can accompany this dish with cooked vegetables. Their contrast will surely catch your child’s attention.

4. Cauliflower

To prepare this dish, use a small cauliflower, 2 eggs, flour and salt.

  • Boil the cauliflower in a saucepan with water and salt for 30 minutes. Before removing, prick it with a fork to make sure it is tender.
  • Next, pick up the cauliflower, cut it out, and cover each of the bouquets with flour.
  • Beat an egg in a bowl, add salt, and  dip the cauliflower bouquets in this mixture. 
  • Finally, pour a little oil on a frying pan, and fry the bouquets until they are completely done.

This dish is ready when the cauliflower bouquets turn golden. They can be placed on a plate so that the excess oil can drip off. This recipe is rich in fiber, and contains very little fat. 

5. Yogurt with fruit

Kids would definitely rather eat dessert, than salads and vegetables. Therefore, it is ideal to combine them both. This option is good when preparing a quick dinner.

To prepare this recipe, use Greek yogurt, 50 g blackberries, 50 g raspberries, 100 g strawberries, 50 g walnuts and 75 g sugar.

  • First,  stir in the yogurt with a spoon,  and divide it into cups.
  • Subsequently, heat 400 ml of water. Add the strawberries, blackberries and raspberries when it starts to boil.
  • Slowly add the sugar and stir until it forms a jam. 
  • Place the jam on the yogurt, and decorate it as you wish.
  • Tip: if you do not have Greek yogurt,  you can use natural yogurt that does not contain sugar and milk.
